The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Allergy, Clinical Immunology, and Rheumatology, is seeking a full-time Rheumatologist to join its dynamic team and support the department's mission of delivering the highest quality patient care while advancing teaching, research, and academic excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to improve access to rheumatologic care across Kansas through innovative telehealth initiatives and statewide specialty care collaboration, with a commitment to keeping care close to home whenever clinically appropriate while ensuring patients have access to the advanced specialty care available through an academic health system.
The Division of Allergy, Clinical Immunology, and Rheumatology offers a collegial and well-supported practice environment with 22 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. Physicians are supported by dedicated nursing staff, including 1:1 RN support, multiple LPNs and Medical Assistants, and four clinical PharmDs. Additional resources include two infusion therapy units, a fully integrated clinical trials program, and access to musculoskeletal ultrasound. The Division's size and depth of expertise foster collaboration while supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care across the region.
