What believers are saying

  • Acenda launched a redesigned website in April 2026, simplifying online appointments and referrals.
  • The site shows broad insurance acceptance, including Medicare and managed care plans.
  • Its 2022 RWJF grant and New Jersey institute work keep Acenda visible statewide.

What critics are saying

  • New Jersey designated the Center for Health Equity and Wellbeing in June 2025, sidelining Acenda.
  • Acenda's differentiation depends on referral flow, insurance reimbursement, and local government contracts.
  • If Medicaid or county funding tightens in 2026, staffing and service breadth get squeezed hard.

What makes Acenda Integrated Health unique

  • Acenda offers 100-plus integrated programs across behavioral, family, and maternal health.
  • Its Get Care access center routes patients to services within two business days.
  • Acenda still anchors New Jersey public-health equity work through its institute-building legacy.
