Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • No visa sponsorship (H-1B or TN) available for this position.
Responsibilities
  • Manages geospatial data repositories, ensuring secure storage, accessibility, and effective organization.
  • Align with Mapping Support Functional Area initiatives as a Database Administrator that Manage and update geospatial databases, ensuring integration with governmental data sources like MSHA and EIA.
  • Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Responsibilities include updating and validating geospatial data to support visualization and analysis of energy infrastructure.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (DOE Q) or higher if required.
  • Competencies and skills aligned with energy sector operations and policy domain.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency with data analysis tools and project management methodologies.
