- A Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
- A New Jersey APN and RN license or PA license is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.
- NCCPA certification is required.
- Assume responsibility for advanced practice provider duties within the scope of practice in a clinical specialty.
- Consult with other members of the health care team to strengthen nursing practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
- Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- Two years of experience in gastroenterology is highly preferred.
