About the job
- Experience administering Linux and Unix system environments.
- Strong experience with Linux, mainly CentOS and Red Hat.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL.
- Ability to configure disaster recovery solutions in virtualized environments.
- Ability to write scripts in Python.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale devices.
- Skills managing IP routing and BGP routing, and setting up VPNs and load balancers.
- Strong understanding of container concepts, including Docker containers, and container orchestration with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience with cloud providers, specifically Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
- Familiarity with API testing, such as Postman.
- Understanding of JavaScript.
- Ability to perform web optimization.
- Ability to document standard operating procedures for deliverables.
- Strong reporting skills.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant information technology field.
- At least 2 years of work experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Provide operational support to FinTech business systems, point-of-sale devices, and clients.
- Work on on-site and off-site projects related to support, system deployments, and platform deployments.
- Liaise with international teams to report, resolve, and proactively prevent business-critical issues.
- Support sales management in a pre-sales capacity.
- Analyze requirements for development.
- Sanitize APIs.
- Basic software development skills in application and web development.
- Keep track of market developments and review and suggest solution enhancements related to voice control, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and big data.
