Responsibilities
Participate in site safety, environmental protection, and construction activities on heavy civil and highway projects.
Use power and hand tools to construct and set forms to grade, install overhang brackets, build handrails, and remove and clean forms after concrete placement.
Erect metal and wood forms.
Assist with concrete pours for pier footings, columns, caps, and bridge decks.
Secure and store tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each workday.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks and deliveries.
Work full time, including occasional long hours and weekends, averaging approximately 50 hours per week.

Job Description
Summary/Objective
We recruit highly skilled individuals for a variety of disciplines in the construction field. A skilled craft worker is an essential cog in the wheel of any Superior Construction project.
Qualified applicants will have experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway or Bridge Projects. Applicant must be familiar with working from heights and/or Manlifts.
Your role within the company will include participation in site safety, protection of the environment, and construction of exciting and challenging projects.
Essential Functions

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This is a field base role. The employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Demands
The position lifts heavy objects, walks, and stands for long periods of time and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions.
The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work. Average +/-50 hours per week.

The role requires no travel.
Required Education and Experience
Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.
