Requirements
  • A university degree in procurement, business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISM CPSM, CIPS, or SCMP are an asset.
  • Five to seven years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management is required.
  • Demonstrated experience procuring corporate services is required.
  • Knowledge of information technology procurement is required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen are required.
  • The role requires results orientation and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and support for category management and strategic sourcing to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Develop, present, and maintain relevant subcategory strategies for temporary labor, business services, and information technology services.
  • Translate plans into a rolling 12-month pipeline of strategic sourcing projects, prioritize them, and maintain them in DevOps.
  • Execute sourcing projects in accordance with the established strategic framework.
  • Conduct business reviews with strategic suppliers on a defined cadence.
  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Promote GPSM's value by identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  • Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers, in collaboration with Legal, to achieve optimal total cost of ownership and savings objectives.
  • Identify and participate in process-improvement initiatives focused on agile and pragmatic principles.
  • Work with senior management and business teams to support sustainable change.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to balance cost, risk, and speed while achieving objectives.
  • Drive change in a rapidly evolving environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP and Ariba is preferred.
