About the job
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering is required.
- Zero to three years of experience in Civil Engineering is required.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Solid critical-thinking skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude under pressure, strong teamwork, responsibility, and self-motivation are required.

- Effectively use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design various project features and ArcGIS for watershed planning.
- Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
- Assist in preparing reports, specifications, plans, and permit applications.
- Interface with CAD and GIS designers and coordinate with other engineering departments on complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Assist with client contact and communications.
- Perform onsite construction observation and other fieldwork duties, which may include surveying, stream assessments, and wetland delineations.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software is preferred.
