Requirements
  • Three to five or more years of human resources experience, ideally within hospitality or lifestyle brands.
  • Proficiency in human resources information systems, with Paylocity preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and human resources best practices.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations and performance management.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and the human resources information system through Paylocity.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, New York State, and local labor laws.
  • Drive employee engagement, culture-building, and recognition programs.
  • Maintain accurate human resources records and reporting.
  • Partner with StepStone Hospitality leadership on workforce planning.
  • Support training, development, and succession planning efforts.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience working in boutique or independent hotel environments.
  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and leadership development skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
