Reposit announced as Goodlord deposit replacement partner.

Reposit announced as Goodlord deposit replacement partner. Ben Grech, CEO at Reposit, says its partnership with Goodlord reflects the continued evolution of the rental market. Goodlord has selected Reposit as its exclusive partner for deposit replacements, supporting the growing trend towards more flexible renting. Under the new agreement, Reposit will be the exclusive integrated tenancy security solution on the Goodlord platform that provides landlords with up to 60% more cover than a traditional deposit, while giving tenants a more affordable option by paying one week's rent (as a non-refundable fee) instead of five. This will be offered alongside the option of a traditional cash deposit option. Modern approach. The two companies have worked together since 2021 and this extended partnership claims to offer a consistent, modern approach to how tenancies are secured, while maintaining tenant choice in line with regulation. This partnership will deliver unique value for letting agents, landlords and tenants." Oliver Sherlock, MD of Insurance at Goodlord, said: "Reposit and Goodlord are closely aligned in its desire to always improve the renting experience and this partnership will deliver unique value for letting agents, landlords and tenants. "With hundreds of mutual customers already this partnership feels like a natural evolution especially given how it can mitigate some of the challenges the Renters Rights Act poses for all stakeholders." Ben Grech, CEO at Reposit, added: "For decades, the rental market has relied on cash collateral to provide tenancy security. Today, there is a more modern and efficient way. "This partnership with Goodlord, the market leading pre-tenancy platform in the UK, makes Reposit's modern tenancy security offering the default approach across the platform for joint partners, while preserving tenant choice. "It reflects the continued evolution of the rental market, as new approaches aligned to the needs and constraints of the modern rental market become more widely adopted." 21st May 2026 The Negotiator

Conveyancers blame system, not themselves, for property transaction delays

Conveyancers blame system, not themselves, for property transaction delays. Comings & goings. Four influential figures in estate agency have joined the Digital Sparks advisory board to support the property marketing business, as it enters its next phase of growth. + Simon Whale, founder of Kerfuffle and one of the most connected voices in UK property Ben Madden, head of Digital Sparks, said: "As property marketing continues to evolve, the agents who will win are those who understand that success is no longer about being louder, but about being more human, more visible, and more trusted. "Digital Sparks is positioning itself as the partner to help agents make that shift, through consistent, high-quality storytelling that reflects who they really are. "Helping property professionals tell their story, in the places where today's consumer is actually paying attention." My Property Box has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of Will Maddock as chief finance officer. The newly created role brings the financial function in-house for the first time, enhancing governance and providing increased strategic oversight. Maddock joins from Manchester-headquartered Operam Education Group, where he sat on the board for more than seven years and played a key role in scaling the platform through the acquisition and integration of nine educational recruitment brands. He commented: "The [My Property Box] business has already achieved an impressive track record of acquisitions, and I look forward to helping shape the next phase of its development by ensuring we have the financial strength and systems in place to deliver long-term success." Goodlord has appointed entrepreneur Alex Depledge to its board as a non-executive director. Depledge, currently the CEO and founder of Resi, a major residential architect, will now support Goodlord, which currently provides software and services to streamline the residential lettings process to over 3,500 letting agent brands across the UK. Depledge also currently serves as the entrepreneurship advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and sits as an NED on the board of FTSE-100 member Persimmon PLC. Depledge commented: "I've admired the [Goodlord] business - and William's leadership - for many years, so the chance to support a team with this much ambition and momentum was impossible to resist. Goodlord is a company with both heart and scale, which is a rare combination in tech, and I'm looking forward to helping the team expand their impact even further in the years ahead." William Reeve, CEO of Goodlord, added: "Ambitious companies value board members with entrepreneurial zeal, inquisitive minds and relevant experience; Alex epitomises all of these, and then some. We could not be more pleased to welcome her to the Goodlord Group as we cement our position as the UK's leading technology provider to the private rental sector."
