Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state.
  • At least one year of nurse management experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective health care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient, family, and employee satisfaction on the assigned unit.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and provide safe nursing care.
  • Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff.
  • Identify staff educational needs and develop training with the Nurse Educator.
  • Oversee medication management, including maintaining adequate supplies and ensuring medications are handled according to company policy.
  • Provide direct patient care alongside other unit nurses to maintain clinical skills.
