Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Three to five years of experience as a Program Manager, Bid Manager, Project Manager, Senior PMO, Lead Engineer, or Key Account Manager in a manufacturing industry such as aerospace, automotive, or naval.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications including Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • An understanding of overall business operations, including the financial implications of project results for revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
  • Proven experience with international programs and projects.
  • The ability to influence without authority to ensure project milestone completion.
  • Proven experience of leadership and followership outside formal hierarchical lines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead assigned programs and projects, develop and execute program and project plans, identify and track deviations from the plans, and undertake recovery actions.
  • Lead a multifunctional project management team comprising Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and other functions, and coach team members to enhance collaboration and performance.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Proposal, and Production personnel whenever necessary.
  • Depending on the program or project and agreement with the PMO Manager, serve as the single point of contact for the customer and manage the customer relationship.
  • Depending on the program or project and agreement with the PMO Manager, ensure first-line contract management, identify contract deviations, and negotiate their impacts with the customer.
  • Track key process indicators, including financial margin, On Time Delivery, and OQD, and provide monthly dashboard updates to top management at the monthly Steering Committee.
  • Provide weekly status reports to the project team and the PMO Manager during weekly project reviews.
  • Establish an internal and external network to effectively escalate and solve complex issues.
  • Contribute knowledge and experience to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives as part of the project management system.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Business, Engineering Management, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Planview is a plus.
