- A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- Three to five years of experience as a Program Manager, Bid Manager, Project Manager, Senior PMO, Lead Engineer, or Key Account Manager in a manufacturing industry such as aerospace, automotive, or naval.
- Demonstrated computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications including Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- An understanding of overall business operations, including the financial implications of project results for revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
- Proven experience with international programs and projects.
- The ability to influence without authority to ensure project milestone completion.
- Proven experience of leadership and followership outside formal hierarchical lines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Lead assigned programs and projects, develop and execute program and project plans, identify and track deviations from the plans, and undertake recovery actions.
- Lead a multifunctional project management team comprising Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and other functions, and coach team members to enhance collaboration and performance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Proposal, and Production personnel whenever necessary.
- Depending on the program or project and agreement with the PMO Manager, serve as the single point of contact for the customer and manage the customer relationship.
- Depending on the program or project and agreement with the PMO Manager, ensure first-line contract management, identify contract deviations, and negotiate their impacts with the customer.
- Track key process indicators, including financial margin, On Time Delivery, and OQD, and provide monthly dashboard updates to top management at the monthly Steering Committee.
- Provide weekly status reports to the project team and the PMO Manager during weekly project reviews.
- Establish an internal and external network to effectively escalate and solve complex issues.
- Contribute knowledge and experience to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives as part of the project management system.
- A master's degree in Business, Engineering Management, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Knowledge of Planview is a plus.
