About the job
- Hold valid Class D and G licenses issued by the State of Florida.
- Have a valid Florida driver's license.
- Have a minimum of two years of security experience.
- Have reliable personal transportation.
- Be available to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
- Have a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Have a smartphone.
- Pass a background check with no felony conviction.
- Have computer knowledge and skills.
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling properties, remaining vigilant of surroundings, and permitting entry.
- Inspect buildings and access points.
- Prevent losses through proper training on reporting activities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
- Restrain trespassers when needed.
- Maintain the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Supervise and train new and current officers.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
