Requirements
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in Marketing Analytics, Growth Analytics, Web Analytics, or Product Analytics, ideally in a digital business model with relevant paid-marketing budget.
  • Very strong SQL skills and the ability to independently answer complex questions using data.
  • A solid understanding of digital tracking, marketing attribution, and customer journeys.
  • Experience with at least one common business intelligence or visualization tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Ability to build dashboards that non-technical stakeholders can use intuitively.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis results into concrete decisions for marketing, product, or business leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and systematically, turning initially vague questions into testable hypotheses and carrying them through to robust analysis.
  • German language proficiency at C1 level.
Responsibilities
  • Own the analytical perspective on paid marketing channels and evaluate key performance indicators such as customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, payback periods, and optimal budget allocation across Google Ads, Meta, affiliate, and other channels.
  • Continuously develop the understanding of attribution, from traditional first-contact and last-contact models to robust assessments of incrementality and the actual contribution of individual channels.
  • Work with the mobile attribution setup and further develop bridging between app and web identities to evaluate customer acquisition cost and lifetime value holistically at the person level.
  • Analyze and evaluate campaigns with the marketing team and derive concrete recommendations for budget allocation and optimization.
  • Analyze the entire funnel from first contact through registration, first trade, and subsequent activity.
  • Develop cohort and retention analyses to identify which user groups remain active and valuable over time.
  • Support A/B tests and product experiments from hypothesis formation and suitable key performance indicator definition through statistical evaluation and interpretation.
  • Translate user behavior into economic value, including lifetime value modeling, activation drivers, and churn signals.
  • Derive concrete recommendations for marketing, product, and management from analyses.
  • Define tracking requirements with relevant stakeholders and ensure that the data required for robust analyses is available.
  • Develop dashboards and self-service analytics solutions based on Databricks for independent use by business departments.
  • Treat data protection and consent as fixed constraints for tracking, attribution, and analytics.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience or exposure to dbt and/or Python.
  • Experience with lakehouse platforms and modern data stacks.
  • Experience with Snowplow, Google Analytics 4, or comparable event-tracking setups.
  • Experience with mobile attribution using Adjust or AppsFlyer, particularly consent-driven measurement gaps.
  • Experience with ad technology such as Google Ad Manager, header bidding, or yield optimization.
  • Experience with reverse extract, transform, load and audience activation in marketing tools for financial markets, trading, or brokerage.

Finanzen.net acquires fintech Vickii to develop AI products for neobroker

Finanzen.net has acquired German fintech Vickii, though the startup's app will be discontinued. The founding team, including Lukas Söllner, Alexander Brils and Jai Bheeman, will join Finanzen.net to develop AI products for the company and its neobroker finanzen.net Zero. Vickii, based in Münster, aimed to introduce young people to investing through stock information and financial content. The startup raised funding three years ago from business angels including former Rocket Internet supervisory board member Marcus Englert. Söllner will serve as Head of AI, leading development of new AI features for finanzen.net Zero. The acquisition appears to be primarily a talent acquisition, with Finanzen.net CEO Muhamad Chahrour, formerly of Flatex, likely paying a modest sum for the young product team.
