About the job
- Coding experience in HTML, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, XML, and JavaScript.
- Software experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, VS.NET, Site Server, and IIS in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Exposure to developing web services and implementing a service-oriented architecture.
- Experience within the Microsoft web environment.
- Exposure to industry-standard software development methodologies, such as case-driven and test-driven iterative development methodologies, Scrum, or XP.
- Exposure to debugging, code reviewing, code refactoring, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to version control, issue tracking, and build and release management.
- Exposure to rapid development cycles.
- A GPA greater than 3.5 and at least 3 years of professional software development experience are required.
- Confidence with application development and execution environments, and familiarity with a structured development methodology and process.
- Ability to set and achieve goals in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Implement solutions using Microsoft technologies, including C#, MVC, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS 8.0/8.5, WCF, JSON, TFS, and Amazon AWS, under the supervision of senior developers.
- Contribute to development and deployment of the company's Internet-based application by personally implementing complex, specialized, or highly technical components.
- Participate in formal quality assurance methodologies and efficient release engineering processes in an Agile or XP environment.
- NUnit, FxCop, and Nant are a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting tools such as Python is a plus.
