Requirements
  • Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive manufacturing environment.

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn and operate the Poly Joiner portion of the Bobst machine.
  • Ability to direct crew members effectively.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure and ruler accurately.
  • Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to perform job-related computer functions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment with moving equipment and personnel.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating schedules as needed.
  • Ability to stand, move, lift, and handle materials throughout a 12-hour shift.
Responsibilities
  • Operate the Bobst Poly Joiner machine at efficiency standards established by Menasha.
  • Set up equipment for proper folding, joining, and insertion of die-cut blanks into the Poly Joiner section.
  • Gather stacks of joined cartons and inspect them for quality.
  • Guide finished product through the bundler to ensure proper packaging.
  • Check product quality and verify correct register throughout the production process.
  • Monitor incoming stock and die-cut product to ensure compliance with Menasha and customer quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products according to customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and repair or assist maintenance personnel with repairs as needed.
  • Direct and support crew members to maintain safe and efficient production flow.
  • Rotate job positions as required to support production operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all corporate and plant safety procedures and policies.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow processes.
  • Complete required production reporting and documentation accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
