About the job
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance are required.
- A cellphone with internet access is required.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo background checks and provide proof of vaccination as required.
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients through conversation, activities, and quality time.
- Plan and prepare nutritious light meals and provide timely medication reminders.
- Safely transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment through light housekeeping and organization.
- Prior home care or personal assistance experience is a plus; training is provided.
- Preferred certifications, but not required: Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator.
- Candidates with prior dementia care experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
