- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development within the supply chain software industry, preferably in procurement, sourcing solutions
- Knowledge and experience in Procurement or Supply Chain functions
- Expertise in BOM management, spend management, sourcing, eProcurement, Spend Analytics, and Product Lifecycle management
- Proven ability to engage with customers, understand technical requirements, and deliver tailored solutions
- Excellent problem solving, people relationships, and storytelling skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Staying current on the solution roadmap (forthcoming improvements) as well as competitive offers to improve your industry knowledge

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives forward

- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for customers and sales teams
- Support the sales team in developing proposals and responding to technical inquiries
- Work closely with engineering, product management, and R&D teams to influence new product development based on customer feedback and emerging market needs
- Identify new application segments and provide input on go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product specifications and ensure alignment with industry requirements
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align business strategies with technical solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements in procurement and supply chain software solutions
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences to network and gather insights
- Provide regular reports and recommendations on market trends and customer needs to internal stakeholders
- Support launch activities with territory sales resources and Marketing by: Ensuring market success through measured market tactics; Supporting Sales and Channel through pre and post-launch activities; Support various internal and external product/application training
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: BOM management, spend management, sourcing, eProcurement, Spend Analytics, and Product Lifecycle management

Don Cantow appointed as General Manager of Altium. SAN DIEGO - (BUSINESS WIRE) - #Altium - Altium, a global leader in electronics design systems, today announced the appointment of Don Cantow as General Manager of Altium, effective January 1, 2026. In his role as General Manager, Mr. Cantow will be central to accelerating Altium's adoption as an industry platform, while safeguarding its openness and accessibility across the global electronics ecosystem, spanning semiconductor companies and the broader EDA and ECAD community. Following the acquisition of Altium by Renesas Electronics Corporation ("Renesas", TSE: 6723) in 2024, the company has been advancing a bold strategy to accelerate the digitalization of the electronics industry.
