  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • 5+ years of hands-on backend software development
  • Experience in building production-quality, highly performant and scalable distributed systems and Service-Oriented architecture
  • Experience in one of the JVM languages Java / Scala / Kotlin + SpringBoot.
  • Experience in writing high quality production code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation and has appropriate production observability
  • Strong CS fundamentals, including OO concepts, data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture
  • Solid understanding and experience with NoSQL and relational DB
  • Empathy with users internal and external, and a strong customer focus

  • Build and launch new capabilities and products that bring significant value to customers internal and external
  • Uphold our high engineering standards. Elevate quality and engineering efficiency within our codebases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including product, design, and other engineering functions.
  • Mentor engineers earlier in their technical career to help them grow.
  • Explore new technologies and enrich our technological stack.
  • Actively participate in technical discussions and deep dives with architectural group.

Nevi Program Pause Won’T Derail Ev Charging Expansion

The U.S. Department of Transportation has moved to halt the $5 billion National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program, forcing states to cancel their plans for building electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. However, it seems unlikely this change in policy will have a major impact on the nation’s growing EV charging network. Despite the temporary pause, ongoing private and public sector efforts, along with previous infrastructure investments, are expected to continue expanding the availability of charging stations across the country. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) directed state transportation directors to “decertify” their plans, which had already been used to begin the construction of more than 30 charging stations, with many more in progress
