Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in multifamily property management or leasing.
  • Working knowledge of property management software, including OneSite or Yardi, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the state’s lease documents, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and manage time and organizational tasks effectively.
  • Verbal and written communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexibility and professionalism.
  • Ability to walk the property regularly, inspect apartments, climb stairs, and perform general physical tasks.
  • A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and operate standard office equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports tracking leasing activity, occupancy, and financial performance.
  • Maintain accurate resident records, including rent payments, deposits, and lease documents.
  • Assist the Property Manager in overseeing community operations.
  • Record and process rent payments, application fees, and deposits.
  • Issue late notices, track delinquent accounts, and support legal action when necessary.
  • Make daily bank deposits and maintain required financial records according to company procedures.
  • Greet prospective residents, provide community tours, and complete leasing paperwork.
  • Process renewals, move-ins, and move-outs in accordance with Texas Apartment Association lease requirements.
  • Support marketing and outreach initiatives and conduct local market surveys.
  • Address resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and support resident retention efforts.
  • Accept and process service requests and coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution.
  • Monitor notices to vacate and regularly update property status reports.
  • Maintain organized lease files, service requests, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and other local, state, and federal housing regulations.
  • Complete required training modules, including Grace Hill, within designated timeframes.
  • Participate in ongoing development opportunities and assist in onboarding new team members.
