Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years in data engineering, database administration, or related fields
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Data Factory, Logic Apps, and DevOps/Git in a production environment
  • Strong skills in a programming language (Python, JavaScript, or C# preferred) and SQL for data transformation and automation
  • Proven ability to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows
  • Experience with relational database design and warehouse architecture
  • Understanding of data security principles and compliance frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and manage Once Upon a Farm’s enterprise data infrastructure
  • Build scalable, automated data pipelines that ensure reliability, security, and performance across all aspects of the business
  • Leverage expertise with Azure Data Factory, Python or another scripting language, and SQL to design and maintain robust ELT jobs
  • Automate data ingestion and transformation, and uphold strong data governance practices
  • Use Azure Logic Apps and/or Power Automate to orchestrate workflows and eliminate manual processes through automation
  • Help develop and maintain a CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps, ensuring consistent, secure, and traceable releases
  • Partner closely with all aspects of the business to proactively monitor and optimize data systems to enhance performance, ensure compliance, and safeguard the company’s most valuable data assets

The stock opened at $21 per share, up 16% from its IPO price. The company began in 2013 when Curtis, unable to find fresh baby food at supermarkets, created cold-pressure-protected pouches designed to preserve nutrients. Garner joined in 2017 after meeting food industry executive John Foraker, drawn by the mission to provide accessible, nutritious children's food. Once Upon a Farm has expanded from baby food to include refrigerated oat bars, protein bars and snacks without added sugar. Once Upon a Farm has priced its initial public offering of nearly 11 million shares at $18 per share.
