Fellow moms and clinical psychologists Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky launched Good Inside in January 2021 after discovering that millions of parents around the globe were yearning for support along their parenting journey. The Opportunity

Good Inside is looking for a strategically-minded, exceptionally organized QA Lead to help us test our software products and collaborate with engineers to resolve bugs. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll help guide the team technically, helping us make the best decisions for the incredible products we are creating every day. We’re a small team that cares about collaboration, encourages curiosity, celebrates technical excellence and is driven by careful attention to detail and planning for the future. We believe diversity of perspective and experience are key to building great technology and a thriving team. This is a hybrid role in Manhattan with three days a week onsite.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Collaborate with engineering, product and data teams to understand product requirements, technical specifications, and project timelines.
Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Perform manual and automated testing as necessary to identify defects, regressions, and areas for improvement.
Assist in the selection and implementation of an automation testing tool
Advocate for quality best practices, standards, and processes within the organization.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of QA processes and methodologies to identify areas for optimization and enhancement.
Communicate quality-related issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
Manage all bug reports and ensure the bugs are added to the appropriate team’s backlog.

What We’re Looking For in You

You have 2 years of relevant experience in Quality assurance and Testing
Understanding of software development methodologies, QA best practices, and testing techniques.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization
You have exceptional attention to detail and project management skills with knowledge of Notion and Jira.

Compensation transparency range of $100,000 to $130,000 annually and company equity
