Justworks is seeking a VP of Growth to accelerate customer acquisition and expansion across our portfolio while building more scalable, efficient ways to grow.

Reporting to the CMO, you will lead Growth Marketing through a significant transformation. Your mandate is to strengthen the sales-led motion that powers our business today while scaling digital-first experiences that combine intuitive self-directed journeys with human assistance where it adds value. You will bring demonstrated success in both established sales-led and digital growth motions, and understand how to connect them into a coherent customer experience.

You are a commercially minded marketing leader who shares accountability for financial outcomes and deeply understands the levers that drive them. You connect audience strategy, demand generation, channel investment, conversion, and customer progression to qualified pipeline, bookings, acquisition economics, and customer lifetime value.

You are also a builder. You can navigate technical debt, incomplete measurement, and evolving processes while delivering meaningful results. You know when to act on the evidence available, when to test an assumption, and which foundational improvements will unlock the next stage of growth. You move comfortably between hands-on problem-solving and leading through leaders, building the team and systems that allow you to delegate effectively as the organization scales.

What You Will Work On

Lead the growth strategy and its commercial delivery. Translate company and Marketing priorities into an integrated growth plan across acquisition, conversion, and lifecycle marketing. Share accountability for bookings and revenue outcomes, establish clear performance expectations, and connect leading indicators to financial results.
Strengthen sales-led acquisition. Grow qualified demand and pipeline through integrated campaigns, account-based marketing, paid media, organic discovery, field programs, and nurture. Partner closely with Revenue to improve audience quality, routing, handoffs, and conversion across the buying journey.
Scale digital growth. Apply digital and product-led growth principles to expand reach, reduce friction, and improve acquisition efficiency. Partner with Product and the Acquisition Engine team to develop digital-first hybrid journeys across multiple offerings and routes to purchase, connecting marketing demand with experiences that help customers evaluate, choose, and buy.
Develop lifecycle and expansion motions. Shape programs that help prospects progress toward purchase and customers discover and adopt additional offerings. Connect segmentation, behavioral signals, messaging, and channel activation into relevant journeys, in partnership with Product Marketing, Revenue, Product, and Customer Success.
Manage investment across the growth portfolio. Allocate Growth Marketing budgets, talent, and agency resources against business priorities. Evaluate channel performance, customer quality, and acquisition economics; make deliberate tradeoffs between immediate returns and longer-term growth capacity. Partner with Brand and Communications to connect demand creation and demand capture, using measures appropriate to each.
Build an effective learning and measurement discipline. Establish a practical approach to funnel diagnosis, experimentation, forecasting, and performance reviews. Drive decisions with the best available evidence while improving instrumentation, reporting, and attribution. Communicate clearly what the data shows, where uncertainty remains, and what action you recommend.
Turn operational constraints into prioritized requirements. Identify the data, technology, workflow, and customer-experience improvements needed to unlock growth. Partner with GTM Effectiveness and Marketing Operations to translate Marketing requirements into sequenced capabilities while continuing to execute within today’s environment.
Build and develop the Growth organization. Partner with the CMO to shape the team’s structure, recruit strong leaders and specialists, develop existing talent, and clarify accountability. Establish operating practices that improve execution and reduce dependence on individual heroics. Lead directly where needed while building the management depth to operate at scale.
Advance modern marketing capabilities. Evaluate and apply emerging approaches in search and answer-engine discovery, personalization, automation, and AI. Prioritize applications that improve customer experience, learning, productivity, or commercial performance.

With adaptable leadership. You know when to inspect the details, coach a leader, remove a barrier, or delegate a decision. You build capable teams with the clarity and autonomy to perform.

You will work closely with Product Marketing, Brand, and Communications, as well as Revenue, Product, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Finance, and Customer Success. Two particularly important partners are GTM Effectiveness, which coordinates cross-functional priorities, tradeoffs, and execution, and the Acquisition Engine team, which is building the scaled, multi-product customer experience for digital-first hybrid acquisition.

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing diverse marketing strategies, including digital, field, and lifecycle marketing
Demonstrated success driving measurable growth in both established sales-led and scaled digital motions, with a clear understanding of their different economics, customer experiences, and operating requirements.
Experience growing subscription businesses and platforms or portfolios with multiple offerings, including the opportunities and tradeoffs across acquisition, adoption, and expansion. B2B SaaS and SMB customer experience are desirable. We also welcome relevant experience in adjacent subscription and multi-offering platform businesses.
Deep expertise in demand generation and digital growth, including integrated campaigns, account-based marketing, performance media, funnel optimization, and experimentation.
Strong understanding of product-led growth principles and a track record of partnering effectively with Product and Engineering to improve customer journeys and commercial outcomes.
Experience developing lifecycle strategies that improve prospect conversion, customer engagement, or expansion.
Evidence of building or transforming growth capabilities while continuing to deliver results through technical debt, incomplete data, or operational constraints.
Strong commercial and analytical judgment, including budget allocation, forecasting, acquisition economics, and translating marketing performance into financial implications.
A track record of hiring, developing, and leading multidisciplinary teams, including managers of managers, with the ability to work hands-on when the situation requires it.
Exceptional cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and influence without authority.

What Success Looks Like

Stronger qualified pipeline and commercial contribution: greater confidence in Growth Marketing’s contribution to bookings, supported by better demand quality and conversion.
Demonstrable digital scale at better economics: measurable progress expanding digital and hybrid acquisition while sustaining performance in the existing sales-led motion.
A strong team and reliable execution: capable leadership, clear priorities and responsibilities, and a repeatable approach to delivering results, learning, and improving.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $285,000 - $325,000 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

Justworks partners with U.S. Chamber on Small Business Index. In brief: * Justworks partners with U.S. Chamber of Commerce * Index tracks small business hiring and investment views * Justworks draws data from 15,000 small business customers * 46% of small businesses offer health insurance in Q3 Justworks and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have partnered to produce the chamber's quarterly Small Business Index, which tracks business owners' views on hiring, investment and economic conditions. The index has been published since 2017. Under the partnership, Justworks will contribute perspectives drawn from its work with more than 15,000 small business customers, including information on workforce and benefits decisions. The first report under the partnership, covering the third quarter of 2026, is scheduled for release at the end of September. The organizations said it will show that 46% of small businesses offer health insurance, up from 41% a year earlier. The full report has not yet been released. "The Small Business Index gives small businesses a clear view into how their peers are approaching major business challenges like hiring, benefits and growth," Justworks CEO Mike Seckler said. The quarterly reports will also examine small business confidence, employment trends, capital investment and expectations for the future, with findings broken down by industry and region.

JLL worked on behalf of the borrowers, Kimco Realty Corporation. The Arizona property was The Summit at Scottsdale in Scottsdale. The JLL Capital Markets team was led by Chris Drew and John Marshall, along with Wells Waller, Jarrod Howard, Gabriel Davenport and Preston Bacon. 2. The Tucson Medical Dental Complex at 4625-4627 N. Oracle Road in Tucson was recently sold by Health Wealth Fund One Series 1, LLC for $5.83M. ACE Oracle-AZ, LLC purchased the 13.9KSF property. 3. Chipotle 22nd & Kolb, LLC purchased the newly constructed, 2.3KSF Chipotle Mexican Grill at 7101 E. 22nd St. in Tucson for $4.42M in an all-cash transaction. Tangerine Gateway, LLC, an affiliate of David Lee Real Estate, was the seller. The restaurant occupies approximately 0.49 acres at the NEC of East 22nd Street and South Kolb Road and operates under a 15-year absolute triple-net lease. Ryan Moroney, Tim Westfall, Jack McAndrew and Kyle Duffy with Echo West Capital Advisors marketed the property for the seller. Cameron Lee, a member of Tangerine Gateway and broker with David Lee Real Estate, represented the seller. 4. Steel Peak acquired a 2.18-acre industrial outdoor storage property at 2142 W. Van Buren St. in Phoenix for $3.3M from an undisclosed seller. The property includes a 6.3KSF industrial building.
