About the job
- At least 2 years of business-to-business software-as-a-service sales experience.
- Full-cycle sales experience and the ability to navigate the complexities of mid-market deals.
- A strong track record of closing new business.
- Experience selling to chief financial officer and/or chief operating officer personas.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, financial, and organizational capabilities.
- The ability to work at both a tactical and strategic level.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and curiosity.
- Build and drive new business opportunities for selling Standard Metrics’ software within an assigned territory.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Standard Metrics offering and value proposition and articulate them effectively in the market.
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from initial inquiry through forecasted pipeline, deal design, and close.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy within an assigned territory and/or targeted customer list while meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Provide continuous updates on active accounts and report on sales activities regularly.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to deliver customer feedback on the product.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Sales Development Representatives, and the Customer Success team on projects and initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and referenceability.
- Travel for client visits, conferences, and networking events.
- Experience with private markets firms, venture capital, or private equity is a plus.
