About the company
Stars and Strikes runs family entertainment centers in Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama and Tennessee, where families, friends and work groups gather for bowling, arcade games and food. Many centers add laser tag, bumper cars, escape rooms, virtual reality or axe throwing, with the mix of attractions varying by location. Each visit can pair play with a meal and drinks, since centers run their own kitchens and full bars alongside the lanes and game floor. The company earns money from games and attraction time, arcade cards, food and drink, and packaged birthday parties and company events. The family-owned business opened its first center in Cumming, Georgia, in 2005 and is headquartered there.

What believers are saying
- Entry-level managers learn every department: the Myrtle Beach manager-in-training role prepares hires for any management position in the company's centers.
- Center leaders share in results: Atlanta's general manager posting lists bonuses and profit-sharing alongside health and 401k benefits.
- Outreach roles fit other commitments: Cumming's part-time community relations rep works 10 to 20 hours weekly with schools and churches.
What critics are saying
- Expect weekend and holiday shifts: Dallas server and Concord lane technician postings both require that availability.
- General managers run large crews: the Atlanta role oversees 120-150 hourly workers plus salaried managers and answers for labor costs.
- Off-peak lanes sell cheaply: Entertainment Happy Hour prices bowling at 99 cents a game Monday through Thursday at most centers.
What makes Stars and Strikes unique
- Claw machines get a dedicated format: nine centers run Claw Town USA, where small prizes trade up for bigger ones.
- Foster families get complimentary holiday mornings: Stars and Strikes hosts Foster Family Christmas Parties with gifts donated by local groups.
- Leagues reward regulars: league bowlers get six free games weekly, with restrictions, plus 15% off food and pro shop items.
