  • 8+ years of experience as a SDET or a similar role
  • Strong experience in improving quality, problem solving, and creating long-term solutions
  • Experience testing all layers of a SaaS platform, with various testing methodologies like performance testing, contract testing, integration testing, load testing, etc.
  • Strong understanding of API design and implementation
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, PactJs, K6, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in programming languages such as JavaScript/Typescript and Python
  • Strong competency in SQL
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with monitoring related tools and frameworks like Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • An advocate for quality across the engineering teams
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including product management and engineering, to improve quality standards and practices across the platform
  • Document and track defects, as well as produce detailed reports
  • Developing and maintaining technical expertise in our products, industry trends, and best practices related to quality
  • Developing and delivering test automation frameworks that drive quality across the platform
  • Improving our CI/CD pipelines
  • Engaging in technical discussions with engineers and stakeholders to formulate test plans and provide guidance and support from a quality perspective
  • Mentoring engineers on the team to increase quality acumen
