- At least 5 years of fiber splicing experience.
- Experience in a foreman or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of data center fiber systems, including inside plant fiber work.
- Ability to read schematics and test results.
- Hands-on experience with fusion splicing and testing tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Lead and supervise fiber splicing crews on-site.
- Perform and oversee fusion splicing for single-mode and ribbon fiber.
- Read and interpret fiber diagrams, prints, and Methods of Procedure documents.
- Manage daily production and crew assignments.
- Ensure all work meets data center quality standards.
- Perform and review optical time-domain reflectometer and light-level testing.
- Maintain splice logs and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot fiber issues and connectivity problems.
- Coordinate with project managers and other teams.
- Enforce safety standards and protocols.
- Experience in data center environments.
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10 or 30 certification.
- Experience with optical time-domain reflectometers, power meters, and fiber testing.
- Familiarity with structured cabling and rack environments.
