Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a similar field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing projects for the automotive industry is required.
  • Project experience across initiation, planning, execution and control, and closing is required.
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorization is required.
  • Future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable.
Responsibilities
  • Manage project deliverables across project initiation, implementation, and closure.
  • Achieve and maintain project targets and key performance indicators, including timing, specifications, quality, budget or profit, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive initiatives to maintain and improve commercial performance, including earnings before interest and taxes, earnings before interest and taxes improvement, change management, resource and sample profitability, and related activities.
  • Monitor and control project execution and define and implement countermeasures.
  • Maintain accurate project status reports and present updates to leadership.
  • Lead interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Foster team and customer satisfaction through clear and consistent communication.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and all project stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead customer and internal meetings to ensure project deliverables fulfill project objectives.
  • Coordinate hardware and software deliveries supporting customer milestones, including sample delivery and series release.
  • Oversee successful product launches.
  • Lead risk management, quality management, and problem-resolution activities, including identification, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of measures with the cross-functional team.
  • Coordinate change management, including requirements management, estimation, and quotation.
  • Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and legal terms.
