Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in frontline fundraising are required.
  • Experience with database software systems or customer relationship management systems and Microsoft Office is required.
  • A valid driver's license from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware is required.
  • The role requires the ability to lift and carry 25 pounds, frequent sitting and standing, and frequent keyboard use.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage a portfolio and communicate with alumni, donors, and friends of Jefferson through phone calls, in-person meetings, and emails to foster relationships leading to philanthropic commitments.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs and priorities of various colleges and programs through internal meetings and faculty relationships, and articulate compelling cases for philanthropic support.
  • Work with centralized Communications, Events, Research, Annual Fund, and Planned Giving teams to advance donor relations.
  • Maintain proactive communications with colleagues to ensure effective collaboration and synergy in achieving key fundraising goals and objectives.
  • Meet annual defined metrics and goals, including proposals presented and funded, meaningful donor encounters, and dollars raised.
  • Manage new prospects and existing donors through identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, gift closure, and stewardship.
