Requirements
  • Possess an active or reinstatable TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Have an active Top Secret clearance with a counterintelligence polygraph within the last seven years.
  • Have at least 2 years of related experience for the junior level, 8 years for the mid level, 12 years for the senior level, or 16 years for the principal level.
  • A Bachelor's degree may substitute for four years of DevOps experience, and a Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience at the mid, senior, and principal levels.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Design, write, and maintain automated tests using Cypress.
  • Use JavaScript or TypeScript for test script development.
  • Test modern web applications, RESTful microservices, and application programming interfaces.
  • Understand software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Have practical experience with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Have experience with version control systems, including Git.
  • Work independently and collaboratively on a team.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Independently design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable automated user-interface and application-programming-interface test scripts using Cypress.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and document defects and testing metrics.
  • Partner with DevOps and software engineers to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline, including GitLab CI/CD.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and demos, understand functional requirements, and ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and product owners to validate functional enhancements and support modernization of authoring and dissemination tools.
Desired Qualifications
  • Configure and integrate automated tests within continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, including GitLab CI/CD.
  • Work with cloud-based architecture and deployment using Amazon Web Services.
  • Understand containerization with Docker for testing applications in consistent environments.
  • Have domain knowledge of government agency reporting and dissemination policies.
