Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Team with first line of defense teams to conduct regular risk assessments and analysis to identify potential operational risks and control gaps.
  • Collaborate with first line of defense teams to ensure effective risk management practices are in place and functioning properly.
  • Aggregate, monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and operational risk events to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on risk management processes and best practices.
  • Support the design and execution of risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks.
  • Assist in the procurement, renewal, and administration of corporate insurance policies, ensuring optimal coverage and cost efficiency.
  • Liaise with insurance brokers and carriers to manage claims and ensure compliance with policy requirements and regulatory standards.

It allows customers to overdraft up to $200 on debit card purchases without fees through its SpotMe service and provides direct deposit for paychecks up to two days earlier than traditional banks.
