Position based in Turkey remotely.
OVERVIEW:
As the Business Development Manager for Distribution in our strategic distributor regions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our distribution network within Turkey, and other selected markets. This position requires a proactive and strategic professional with a strong background in business development, distribution management, and a deep understanding specifically of the Turkish business landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with partners, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

- Business Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the distribution sector within Turkey.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to expand the company’s presence in the market.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Utilize market insights to adapt and refine business development strategies.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans and ensure mutual success.
- Sales Growth:
- Work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth through the distribution channels.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to enhance competitiveness.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate and finalize distribution agreements, contracts, and other business arrangements.
- Ensure that contractual terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with company objectives.
- Customer Engagement:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make informed decisions.
- Work with partners on a joint business plan which is reflected in a clear and accurate forecast, reviewed monthly in line with company processes.
- Ensure orders are received in a timely manner for shipment, working with the Operations and Finance teams to ensure a smooth flow from receipt to delivery.
- Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure that all business development activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations affecting the distribution industry in Spain.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (REQUIREMENTS):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the distribution sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the Turkish SDA market and distribution channels.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Fluent in Turkish and English.
