Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as Sensu or Nagios.
- Experience working in and commitment to a 24/7 production environment.
- Understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Ruby, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with system logging tools such as Logstash or Splunk.
- Experience configuring and deploying Ruby and Node.js web application stacks.
Responsibilities
- Automate and provision infrastructure with Chef and Jenkins.
- Assist with management of Amazon Web Services cloud services, including EC2, ELB, and S3.
- Assist with management of the Cloud Foundry platform as a service environment.
- Perform systems and application monitoring and load testing.
- Collaborate with the software development team.
- Provide on-call support for production operations.
