Requirements
  • A high school education or equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in a customer service setting is required.
  • At least six months of barista experience is required.
  • Must be able to travel between all Daily Grind locations.
Responsibilities
  • Meet operational budget goals established by the Executive Board.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and develop relationships with customers.
  • Prepare consistent drinks according to Starbucks recipes and standards.
  • Oversee the daily activities of Daily Grind staff and volunteers.
  • Monitor baristas' job performance and address concerns.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness at all Daily Grind locations and ensure Health Department guidelines are followed.
  • Ensure accurate product charging among staff and proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Prepare accurate daily deposits and pay invoices.
  • Resolve register and transaction issues.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience reconciling bank deposits and accounts payable is preferred.
  • One year of experience working in a retail setting is preferred.
  • Six months of experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
