About the job
- Hold a current, unrestricted California Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
- Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Have one year of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Provide proof of a negative tuberculosis result.
- Have physical screening documentation from within the last year.
- Hold current Basic Life Support certification.
- Have a valid California driver's license and insurance.
- Have a cell phone with internet access.
- Coordinate with physicians, rehabilitation services, and other care providers.
- Educate clients about their diagnosis and treatment and ensure they understand.
- Provide skilled nursing services, including wound care, medication management, and managing chronic conditions.
- Organize and document care.
- Provide high-quality skilled care to elderly clients and adults with disabilities.
- Home Health experience is preferred.
