  • 4+ years experience in design research
  • MS/PhD, human behavior related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with qualitative and user-centered methods
  • Experience with applied statistics
  • Knowledge of survey design and quantitative UX methods a bonus
  • Ability to clearly, concisely, and persuasively communicate findings, verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
Responsibilities
  • Design qualitative studies that address user behavior and attitudes
  • Generate insights for ideation and design evaluation
  • Conduct research using quantitative methods and interpret analysis through the lens of UX, HCI, and social science
  • Partner with technical roles to create and share research
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing
  • Adapt and lead research practices to meet team needs under tight time frames
  • Synthesize and communicate research findings to inform business decisions and build empathy for customers
  • Craft compelling stories that couple customer insights with business strategy to drive decision-making
