General Motors designs, manufactures, and sells a wide range of vehicles and vehicle parts, catering to individual consumers, businesses, and government entities. GM generates revenue primarily through vehicle sales under brands like Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick, as well as through financing and insurance services via GM Financial. Unlike many competitors, GM is actively involved in community service and sustainability efforts, with employees contributing significant volunteer hours. The company is also focused on technological advancements, such as its Dynamic Fuel Management system for improved fuel efficiency, and is heavily investing in electric and autonomous vehicle technologies.
