Requirements
- The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing without limitations in the State of Georgia.
- The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
- Practice nursing in accordance with the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or another clinical specialty certification for specific units, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
