Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
Must regularly drive to client homes.
Must be able to work under stress and cope emotionally with changes in activity.
Must be able to work in home environments with potential exposure to communicable diseases, harmful chemicals, or disoriented or combative patients.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care to selected clients as assigned by nursing leadership.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, combing hair, oral hygiene, and dressing.
Provide care in accordance with the client's plan of care and tasks assigned by a Registered Nurse.
Implement the client's plan of care in compliance with agency and governmental regulations.
Provide simple exercises, transfers, and assistance with therapy programs when instructed.
Document all care provided within 24 hours of the visit using electronic health record software.
Immediately report changes in a client's condition or problems with assigned tasks to a supervisor or professional staff.
Provide emotional support to clients and families.
Desired Qualifications
One year of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Home care experience.

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time and Hourly
Compensation: $17 - $22 dependent upon experience

Essential Functions:

Licenses/Certifications: Must have a Colorado CNA certificate in good standing (DORA). Current BLS/CPR required.
