Requirements

Must have completed a state-accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Must hold a Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant certificate in good standing through DORA.
Current basic life support/CPR certification is required.
Must be able to drive regularly to client homes.
Must be able to work under stress and cope emotionally with changes in activity.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including handling objects, tools, or controls; communicating effectively; and occasionally standing, walking, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care to assigned clients as directed by nursing leadership.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, combing hair, oral hygiene, and dressing.
Provide care according to each client's plan of care and tasks assigned by a registered nurse.
Implement the client's plan of care in compliance with agency and government regulations.
Provide simple exercises, transfers, and assistance with therapy programs when instructed.
Document all care provided within 24 hours of the visit using electronic health record software.
Immediately report changes in a client's condition or problems with assigned tasks to a supervisor or professional staff member.
Provide emotional support to clients and families.
Desired Qualifications
One year of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
Home care experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time and Hourly
Compensation: $17 - $22 dependent upon experience

Essential Functions:

Responsible for documentation of all care provided within 24 hours of the visit utilizing electronic health record software.
Reports immediately to supervisor or professional staff any changes in the client's condition or any problems in assigned tasks.
