At least 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
Experience with rigid-frame or articulated haul trucks is preferred.
Comfort operating and backing large mining vehicles.
A clean driving record is required.
Must be able to pass a background check, road test, drug test, motor vehicle record check, and Department of Transportation physical.
Must be able to drive for extended periods.
A Commercial Driver's License Class A is a plus but is not required.
Must have an interest in autonomous vehicle technology.

Operate and back 20-ton mining vehicles.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and report equipment issues.
Support vehicle hardware and software testing.
Provide engineers with feedback on vehicle performance.
Operate other fleet vehicles when needed.
Follow all safety and Department of Transportation requirements.

The Job
We are hiring an experienced Heavy Machinery Operator to operate and test large 20-ton mining vehicles. This position involves safely driving heavy equipment, completing inspections, and providing feedback to engineering teams.
What You’ll Do
Operate and back 20-ton mining vehicles
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Complete DVIRs and report equipment issues
Support vehicle hardware and software testing
Provide feedback to engineers on vehicle performance
Operate other fleet vehicles when needed
Follow all safety and DOT requirements
Requirements
5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
Experience with rigid-frame or articulated haul trucks preferred
Comfortable operating and backing large mining vehicles
Clean driving record
Able to pass background check, road test, drug test, MVR, and DOT physical
Able to drive for extended periods
CDL-A is a plus, but not required
Interest in autonomous vehicle technology
Travel
