Oratomic is building fault-tolerant, large-scale quantum computers using neutral atoms trapped by lasers as optical tweezers. Its qubits are individual neutral atoms, controlled with optical traps and protected by highly efficient quantum error correction to run useful computations with thousands of qubits. Unlike many peers that push early noisy devices, Oratomic targets end-to-end, utility-scale machines and emphasizes a clear path to large qubit counts. The company aims to deliver useful, error-corrected quantum machines at utility scale by the end of the decade.
