The Device Pillar SME owns the device pillar end to end: from defining what "Advanced" and "Optimal" maturity levels mean for the agency, to spearheading strategies to improve device zero trust maturity through cross-functional and cross-pillar initiatives to improve device security. This candidate will work with agency device tools such as MDM (Intune, JAMF, Workforce one), EDR (CrowdStrike, Red Canary), and other endpoint security tools to improve security, audit compliance, and enforce compliance and restrict access to resources based on device posture. Device pillar maturity: rebaselined requirements and KPIs across 8 functions (policy enforcement and compliance monitoring, asset and supply chain risk management, Resource Access, Device Threat Protection, Visibility and Analytics, Automation and Orchestration, Governance) and 4 maturity tiers.
Enterprise Device Policy Enforcement Program: Leading an initiative to assess device compliance from monitoring tools and enforce compliance by automated means or requiring user action with increasing access restrictions for non-compliance.
DLP modernization: a phased Zscaler data protection rollout (Endpoint, Email, Inline Web, GenAI) replacing a legacy DLP toolset, with SIEM integration.
