The outgoing boss of Welcome to the Jungle joins Alan.

The outgoing boss of Welcome to the Jungle joins Alan. Jérémy Clédat, who recently left his position as CEO of Welcome to the Jungle, has been appointed creative director at Alan. He will be responsible for building the brand of the French unicorn in France and internationally. A change of scenery for Jérémy Clédat! After more than a decade in the recruitment sector with Welcome to the Jungle, he is about to move into a very different field: health insurance. Indeed, Alan has announced that it has hired the entrepreneur, who stepped down as CEO of Welcome to the Jungle on July 1, as creative director. In this capacity, he will define Alan's brand positioning and support its international expansion. Jérémy Clédat will also oversee all initiatives aimed at strengthening the coherence, visibility, and reach of the brand to support the company's growth. "Today, as we support more than a million members and accelerate our international development, we are convinced that a great company must also become a great brand. Jérémy's arrival is an important step in this ambition," says Jean-Charles Samuelian-Werve, co-founder and CEO of Alan. Two mega funding rounds in 3 months. In the first half of the year, Alan completed two major operations. The French unicorn first raised €100 million in March, also bringing Kylian Mbappé into its capital. The star striker for the French national team also became a brand ambassador. Just three months later, Alan closed a new financing round of €480 million at a valuation of €5.5 billion. In this context, the arrival of Jérémy Clédat aims to structure the company for its next growth phase as it now claims €787 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), up 54% year-on-year. "This appointment comes at a key moment in our history, as we prepare to unveil this fall Alan's first brand campaign, the fruit of our strategic partnership with Kylian Mbappé. It is a new step in our desire to make Alan known to the widest possible audience," says Jean-Charles Samuelian-Werve. As a reminder, Jérémy Clédat announced his departure from Welcome to the Jungle at the end of May. Before letting go of the reins of his company founded in 2015 with Bertrand Uzeel, he led a pivot through the lens of artificial intelligence. In April, the company decided to switch to an AI-native recruitment platform, thus abandoning its outdated job board model for good.

French health insurer Alan raises 480 million euros and reaches a valuation of 5.5 billion euros.

French health insurer Alan raises 480 million euros and reaches a valuation of 5.5 billion euros. The French health insurer carries out a major fundraising round, backed by international investors, to accelerate its international growth. French health insurer Alan has raised 480 million euros in a deal that now values it at 5.5 billion euros, it announced on Wednesday. The operation is led by Dutch investment fund Prosus, "one of the world's leading technology groups and global investors, alongside historical shareholders Teachers Venture Growth (TVG) and Index Ventures," Alan said in a statement. British Dara Holdings also becomes a new investor in Alan as part of the deal. Founded ten years ago, Alan (800 employees) has managed to carve out a place among French complementary health insurers by betting from the start on extensive digitization of its activity and on artificial intelligence. The group now claims an annual recurring revenue of 787 million euros, up 54% year-on-year, for a net loss of 26 million euros in 2025, while having become profitable on its French market alone. Focus on international expansion. Alan did not explicitly state what the 480 million euros raised in this operation would be used for, even though it did not hide in March that it already had abundant financial resources. Mihaela Albu, Alan's CFO, had then mentioned the group's desire to "make acquisitions and support its international expansion." After France, its home market, Alan has already set foot in the Belgian, Spanish, and Canadian markets, where it has just started its activity.
