Requirements

  • BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
  • Advanced C, C++, and Python with connected vehicle application development experience in the telematics or vehicle-to-everything domain.
  • In-depth experience with MQTT Quality of Service levels 0, 1, and 2, MQTT 5.0, REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and CBOR for telematics communication.
  • Vehicle-to-everything expertise including ETSI C-ITS, CAM, DENM, SPAT/MAP, CPM, C-V2X, LTE-V2X, PC5, Uu, and SAE J2945 standards.
  • Experience with over-the-air update framework design, including Optane protocol, A/B partition updates, package signing, and rollback strategy.
  • Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity, including TLS 1.3, PKI, HSM integration, SecOC, and ISO/SAE 21434 secure design.
  • Experience integrating cloud IoT platforms such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT for connected vehicle data.
  • Understanding of AUTOSAR Adaptive Communication Manager and Communication Management for vehicle-to-everything and telematics service management.
Responsibilities
  • Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery.
  • Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance align with business objectives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of TCU/DCM feature applications, including OTA clients, remote vehicle services, V2X cooperative driving, and fleet data management.
  • Define application architecture for connected vehicle services, including event-driven messaging, publish/subscribe, data streaming, and client-server request patterns.
  • Drive V2X application development, including CAM encoding and decoding, DENM event notification, and SPAT/MAP intersection management.
  • Lead cloud integration design, including vehicle data pipeline architecture, real-time event processing, and bidirectional cloud-to-vehicle command delivery.
  • Implement security protocol stacks, including TLS 1.3, mutual authentication, certificate lifecycle automation, SCEP, EST, and SecOC for in-vehicle message authentication.
  • Mentor junior engineers in connected vehicle architecture, protocol implementation, and ASPICE documentation practices.
  • Interface with original equipment manufacturer connectivity and cloud platform teams to clarify feature requirements, define integration strategy, and obtain milestone sign-off.
  • Lead regression testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery integration for connected vehicle application modules, including automated protocol tests and cloud API validation.
  • Drive compliance with UNECE R155 cybersecurity requirements and ISO/SAE 21434 security-by-design requirements for connected vehicle features.
  • Contribute to technical proposals and demo development for new connected vehicle program engagements with original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 customers.
  • Champion reusable software design, including connectivity middleware libraries, V2X message codecs, and cloud protocol abstraction layers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with 5G NR V2X, PC5, Uu, and 3GPP Release 16 for next-generation cooperative ADAS V2X features.
  • Knowledge of COVESA VSS and vehicle data abstraction services for standardized connected vehicle data access.
  • Familiarity with the ETSI C-ITS security framework, including certificate authority, enrollment authority, and AACP architecture.
  • Exposure to Multi-access Edge Computing for low-latency V2X application server-side processing.
  • Understanding of fleet management platform integration, including telematics backend, vehicle state management, and OEM portal APIs.
  • Experience with virtual validation at scale, including cloud-based ADAS simulation and scenario database management.
  • Familiarity with ASAM OpenSCENARIO, OpenDRIVE, and ODS standards for test ecosystem interoperability.

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement.
