Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Good mathematical and computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to accurately report information.
  • Ability to follow company and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Ability to perform the physical duties of the position in compliance with occupational safety and health standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining the hotel by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
  • Replace air conditioner filters.
  • Tend air conditioners, cooling towers, and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
  • Maintain standards of quality guest service.
  • Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Complete assigned duties and other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • High school education and relevant training and experience.
  • CPR training and first aid training.
