Requirements
  • Fortinet NSE 4 certification is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network security and Fortinet product implementation and management is required.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls, virtual private networks, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint security, and related technologies is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to diagnose and resolve complex security issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and with clients is required.
  • The candidate must reside in New York City.
  • The candidate must be able to work onsite in the New York City metropolitan area, including Manhattan, East Hanover, and client sites as needed.
  • The role may require occasional evening or weekend work based on project needs.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Fortinet security solutions, including firewalls, virtual private networks, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint security systems, tailored to meet client requirements.
  • Configure and maintain Fortinet devices and services to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Monitor security systems, identify potential threats, and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Provide technical support to clients, resolving issues related to Fortinet products.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, changes, and incidents.
  • Generate reports on security metrics and incident responses.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on Fortinet products and best practices in network security.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and Fortinet product updates.
Desired Qualifications
  • NSE 5, NSE 6, or higher Fortinet certifications are highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
