  • 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Licensed CPA with a strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of leading successful financial audits in either public or private companies. Prefer experience leading a company’s inaugural audit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an accounting team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP, while streamlining the closing process to be as efficient as possible.
  • Prepare for and manage successful financial audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and enforce robust accounting policies, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), expense management, and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing solutions that enhance financial operations.
  • Evaluate existing systems and develop best-in-class infrastructure that meets business needs.
