Banking or financial industry experience is required.
At least 7 years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence, including business requirements analysis, application design and development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouse and data mart systems.
At least 5 years of experience with Cognos tools, including Cognos 10.2 and the Cognos 8.4 Suite: Framework Manager, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, and Cognos Connection.
Experience developing metadata models using Cognos Framework Manager.
Expertise in Cognos administration and security.
Experience designing and delivering projects, packages, and reports using Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio, and Analysis Studio.
Experience designing and developing Business Insight dashboards.
Responsibilities
Gather requirements, develop, and implement business intelligence systems for the banking industry.
Develop reporting, analysis, scorecarding, dashboards, and business event management capabilities.
Design and develop complex reports, including drill-through, cascading prompts, summary reports, and burst reports.
Develop Dimensionally Modelled Relational models and Impromptu Query Definitions in Framework Manager.
Design PowerPlay Transformer models and build PowerPlay cubes.
Identify and understand the analytical needs of various business units and translate them into business intelligence solutions.
