Requirements
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a similar mobility role, preferably within an information technology managed service provider.
  • Excellent knowledge of iOS and Android.
  • Working knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and enterprise applications.
  • Administration skills with SOTI, Google Admin, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain an NV1 clearance.
  • Ability to travel to Datacom offices, customer sites, and conferences when required.
  • Ability to work after-hours when required for project or support engagements.
  • Relevant industry or professional certification must be attained or maintained.
Responsibilities
  • Act as an escalation point of contact for customers and team members.
  • Use tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with service-level agreements.
  • Create high-level, detailed, and low-level design documents.
  • Build customer environments using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and VMware Workspace ONE.
  • Provide technical leadership for major incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and timely ticket records, including actions taken.
  • Build systems according to agreed processes, designs, and build guides.
  • Identify inefficient procedures or processes and suggest improvements.
  • Provide governance for implementations and changes affecting iOS, Android, and Google Chrome OS devices.
  • Configure Apple Business Manager, including volume purchase program, automated device enrollment, and mobile device management servers.
  • Serve as a technical leader or design engineer on deployment and refresh projects.
  • Follow best-practice methodologies and recognized information technology infrastructure library processes, including change and release management.
  • Complete time recording for work performed.
  • Document technology risks and issues, including product lifecycle, support, and licensing matters.
  • Drive the identification and implementation of shift-left initiatives.
  • Perform daily checks and monitoring as required.
  • Prepare monthly reports and provide requested data analysis.
  • Create and maintain documentation for systems and services.
  • Maintain current records for support and problem-management processes.
  • Respond to customer queries promptly and communicate professionally in verbal and written formats.
  • Attend and actively participate in internal and customer meetings, and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Provide operational support for customer systems, including proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and standard and non-standard changes.
  • Support customer devices by resolving incidents, problems, change requests, and business-improvement initiatives.
  • Use call-management systems effectively for assigned customers.
  • Validate and help maintain customer risk and issue registers.
  • Develop effective working relationships with team members, clients, and third parties to obtain required information or decisions.
  • Take proactive ownership of identified issues and communicate proposed resolutions.
  • Share relevant knowledge, experience, and ideas with team members to build team competence.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve team and corporate capability.
  • Support members of the wider Intelligent Workspace group.
  • Comply with Datacom delivery methodologies.
  • Ensure project designs produce post-implementation service improvements, efficiencies, or cost reductions.
  • Deliver projects responsively within schedule and budget estimates.
  • Complete assigned project activities independently or under the guidance of a project manager.
  • Collaborate with customers to achieve project outcomes.
  • Identify project improvements and opportunities within new accounts and contribute to service-improvement registers for existing clients.
  • Deliver project tasks accurately and efficiently while minimizing rework.
  • Contribute accurately and promptly to project reporting and timesheets.
  • Maintain up-to-date utilization forecasts based on assigned work.
  • Assist pre-sales activities by scoping project engagements in customer environments.
  • Manage workloads to enable a smooth handover to business-as-usual operations.
  • Produce accurate, concise, and timely reports.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute initiatives aligned with a personal development plan.
  • Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and assistance to less experienced staff.
  • Support technical aspects of solutions, including bid responses, product and solution briefings, projects, proof-of-concept management, and training of support staff.
